Had a lovely day delivering my lines and stitches workshop at Hartlepool Embroiderers Guild on Saturday. We made samplers in natural fibres looking at linear stitches, couching & some hems. Later in the day we explored ideas on colouring the pieces and how we can continue to work with new ideas.   Been a while since I posted any updates (Sorry- must do better!). Just thought I would let you know about an exhibition where you can see some of my work alongside lots of other talented northeast artists. Should be wonderful exhibition if you can make it.  One more week to see (& maybe purchase!) some of my work, alongside many of my fellow Fusion members, at our current exhition.
The exhibtion runs untill 16th of June & is well worth a visit, The Workshop Gallery 183 Kings Street Castle Douglas. 
 Had lovely day yesterday with some of the ladies from Newcastle upon Tyne Embroiderers Guild, who attended my workshop. We did some basic fabric manipulation & stitching to create a piece for a box lid. Thank you to everyone who attended - hope you enjoy your day as much as I did.

I have been busy getting things ready for “The Cookie Jar Designers Market” next Saturday (9th March). It is the launch day for this new Arts & Crafts event at the Holy Biscuit, in Newcastle (opposite the Biscuit Factory Art Gallery). There should be lots of lovely things to see & buy. And coffee & cakes available! I will have lots of new pieces for sale – as its Mothers Day next Sunday so you might just see a nice gift or just want to come along for a look. I've just found out that my Golden Strata triptych from the Mining a Golden Seam exhibition has sold - I am over the moon.
