Manipulated & Knotted Boxes
Create a textured piece of embroidery. The piece will look at texture, playing with simple fabric manipulation & some basic embroidery stitches within a single colour range; this decorative piece can then be added to a box lid.
All materials for this workshop will be provided, including a small square box. However it is advised that you you bring along a basic personal sewing kit including scissors, embroiderers hoop, pins and needles, as well as any personal items you might wish to include.
This workshop is run at Debs Mickley Studio, Stocksfield, Northumberland. From 10:30 am – 3:00 pm. Tea and coffee are provided, please bring a packed lunch.
