As usual it’s been busy, busy here at DCTA.
I am also continuing to work with the lovely older people’s group at Scotswood Community Garden where we have been dyeing with plants form the garden. There will be more about that in my next Newsletter. Sign up if you haven’t already to get all the news and goings on first!
I am taking a week off! So, I won’t be in the studio week commencing 11th Sept.
Theres still times to book the upcoming workshops the next workshop available for booking is at the fabulous High Street Quilting in Birtley, where I will be delivering “Manipulated and Knotted”, Saturday 30th September.

On Sunday 1st October I will be in Whalton village – I will have a table at the village hall – (too early for Christmas shopping ?!?!) with Tin Shed Arts

On the afternoon, you can join me at Whalton Manor Gardens for an Autumn Meadow Stitching Workshop. This includes all materials and entry to the gardens (usually £8)

Returning in October – Mixed Media Textile Ideas – every Thursday morning in October.
10:30- 13:00 - £110 (that’s just £27.50 per session)
We will be exploring various process and activities in a little mixed media textile book. Starting with making your fabric book and then lots of ideas for filling the pages.
This workshop will take place in my Studio in Mickley and is payable in advance by Bacs, please email by reply if you are interest, bookings will be taken on a first come basis.
Also at Mickley on Saturday 4th November – its back to papers with “3 Little Books” at my Mickley Studio
